BEYOND THERAPY CONSULTING
A Neurodivergent-Affirming ABA Practice for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Company Mission
"Guiding Growth, Beyond Expectations"
Our mission is to empower children to unlock new strengths and gain new skills by using a style of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) that promotes Neurodiversity Affirming Care. This form of care means that our ABA services are NOT designed to “fix” or “cure” a child’s Autistic traits. We start with building on a child’s strengths rather than focusing on the things that a child “can’t” do.
We believe in cultivating a therapeutic learning space where children are supported in learning skills related to self-advocacy, bodily autonomy, sensory regulation, self-expression, and overall daily independence.
Through innovative and person-centered approaches, we strive to break barriers, challenge expectations, and guide each individual toward a path of lifelong growth, fulfillment, and meaningful connection with their world. Beyond Therapy Consulting is committed to celebrating neurodiversity, championing inclusivity, and supporting children to enhance their quality of life, whatever that means for them!
Our ABA Approach
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a widely known evidence-based scientific that helps children learn lifelong skills by systematically applying principles of learning and behavior. ABA focuses on breaking down complex skills into smaller, more manageable components, making it easier for children to acquire them. Overall, the systematic and individualized nature of ABA, combined with a focus on generalization and positive reinforcement, contributes to children acquiring and maintaining essential life skills that extend beyond therapy and well into a child’s future.
Our approach to ABA heavily emphasizes Natural Environment Teaching (NET). NET involves finding meaningful teaching opportunities in a setting where a child would typically engage at home, in the community, or during daily routines. By incorporating everyday activities into ABA sessions, NET increases the likelihood that the acquired skills will transfer to real-life situations, enhancing the child's autonomy and independence.
NET encourages spontaneous learning, enabling children to apply skills across different contexts and interact with various people, fostering adaptability. Ultimately the emphasis on naturalistic settings and activities in NET contributes significantly to the generalization of skills. This approach helps bridge the gap between structured therapy sessions and everyday life, promoting a seamless integration of learned behaviors into the child's routine.

Caregiver Collaboration
Caregiver collaboration is an essential part of a child's ABA therapy progress. Consistent caregiver involvement helps generalize newly acquired skills, quickly promoting real-world application.
Caregivers have unique insights into their child's preferences, challenges, and daily routines. Their active participation allows ABA programs to be tailored to the individual needs of the child, enhancing the effectiveness of interventions.
Our Team
Each child's ABA Therapy team is led by master's and doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) with extensive experience and knowledge.
Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are also highly trained and receive ongoing training and support to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of ABA services.
